VEGA ON THE VERGE

Netón Vega’s Genre-Bending Sound Hits a Crossover Moment on Spotify’s RADAR

With nearly 29 million monthly listeners and clear momentum on Spotify, Netón Vega is already a force in Latin music. Now, as the newest artist to join our RADAR program, he’s poised to reach new audiences around the globe.

RADAR is designed to spotlight artists at a pivotal moment in their careers and, for Netón, that moment is about expansion. While his popularity among Latin fans is already well established, Spotify sees him increasingly resonating beyond core audiences. RADAR is focused on helping accelerate that crossover while supporting his long-term growth. As part of the program, Netón is currently featured on the cover of Spotify’s RADAR US playlist and will receive editorial, marketing, and on-platform support in the coming months.

Blending Música Mexicana with elements of rap and hip-hop, Netón’s sound reflects both tradition and innovation. “It was something that just came out naturally,” he told Spotify, describing how he began blending those influences into his verses after years of listening to corridos, ballads, reggaeton, and Mexican rap.

Last year, Netón ranked among Spotify’s top-streamed Latin artists in the U.S., sharing the honor with superstars like Bad Bunny and Peso Pluma. His album Mi Vida Mi Muerte was also one of the Top Latin Albums both globally and in the U.S., marking a key milestone in his career. That momentum continues to build, highlighted by a historic California debut where he sold out Ontario’s Toyota Arena in under an hour. As a songwriter, his influence also reaches across the genre, with credits on major hits including “LA PEOPLE” and “RUBICON” by Peso Pluma.

With RADAR, the focus isn’t on where Netón Vega has been, it’s on where his music is headed next.
