Last November, Ed Sheeran returned to his musical roots for an intimate, one-night-only performance in Dublin, the third installment of our Billions Club Live series. Now, fans everywhere can experience the magic of that evening with Billions Club Live with Ed Sheeran: A Concert Film, available exclusively on Spotify.
The film captures Ed’s full performance, where top fans gathered for an unforgettable show. In addition to the concert itself, viewers will get a look at behind-the-scenes moments from the night.
For Ed, the show marked a return to the place that shaped him as an artist. “Dublin was the place that I discovered I wanted to be a songwriter,” he says in the film. “I used to come to Ireland four or five times a year with my family. It really feels like coming home. It’s where I sort of learned to write songs—my uncle taught me my first chords on a guitar. I remember being like, ‘That’s what I want to do with the rest of my life.’ I was 11 or 12. Ireland is my sort of spiritual home, musically.”
That deep connection was felt throughout the set as Ed performed a career-spanning selection of his Billions Club hits, including “Shape of You,” “Thinking Out Loud,” and “Perfect.” He also treated the crowd to Irish-inspired tracks like “Galway Girl” and ended with a moving cover of “Parting Glass,” originally by the Dublin-based folk group The High Kings.
The film is the latest iteration of our Billions Club Live series, which celebrates the world’s biggest artists and deepens their connection with fans through performances you won’t see anywhere else. It follows previous concerts with The Weeknd in Los Angeles and Miley Cyrus in Paris.
